Mark Anderson is the Acting Branch Chief of the Emergency Response and Recovery Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Dr.
Anderson has extensive experience in global health and humanitarian emergencies, having worked in crisis settings such as Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Liberia. He earned his MD and MPH from the University of North Carolina and has a background in violence prevention and injury control.
